Check the assigned job Technician

Technician confirms the tool, work description and current permit interval. Raise a changed scope or incorrect asset with Maintenance Manager before starting.

Start authorized work Technician

Technician uses the work-start action for eligible work. The workflow checks safety and authorization, records the work start and moves the eligible tool to Maintenance as the work order enters progress.

Review consumption Technician

The start workflow posts planned part usage exactly once. Technician checks the recorded part, quantity and unit before capturing any additional actual usage for the job.

Complete the work log Technician

Technician records the work performed and actual end time. Maintenance Manager uses the evidence to prepare completion review, with any cycle submissions or sharpening outcomes handled through their relevant process.

And how to keep it from happening.

Repeated start. A retry must not post the same planned consumption again. Check the work-start outcome before treating a delayed response as a new job.
Mixed units. Confirm the spare's unit before entering a quantity. A package and an individual item produce different usage figures.
Incomplete account of work. An end time alone does not explain the repair or inspection. Record what the next person needs to understand.
