How the model is organised

Trailer assets and partners

Vehicles identifies equipment through unit number, asset type and Organization. Transport partners supplies the load counterparty; Drivers and Routes support planning.

Yard visits and detention

Trailer visits links trailer asset to Vehicles and Load to Loads. Yard, trailer location and the arrival/departure fields describe the stay. Grace minutes and detention minutes retain the duration context.

Load planning and dispatch

Loads links Organization, Owner and Counterparty. Load assignments connects a Load with a Driver and Vehicle; load stops holds its sequenced operating stops.

Stops and tracking

Load stops retains window start, window end and actual times. Tracking events records event type, occurred at, Source and location against the Load.

Delivery evidence

Proof of delivery references Load and Stop. Operation receipts, record attachments and review decisions retain source references and outcomes.

Fleet upkeep

Inspections, vehicle defects, maintenance plans and fuel transactions reference Vehicles. Defect Owner references team members.

Freight charges and review

Freight charges references Loads and retains charge type, Amount, Currency and Status. Review decisions identifies source table, source record and Revision.

Keys and references

Match trailer visits.trailer asset to the intended Vehicles record and keep the load’s Organization consistent with the operating case. Load assignments.Vehicle selects the truck; trailer visits.trailer asset identifies the trailer. Proof of delivery.Stop must belong to proof of delivery.Load and be the completed Delivery stop used for verification.

Owner on Loads, vehicle defects and operation receipts references team members. Team members.User references Users; configure that identity mapping before using current-user views. Source record, related record and signature reference are text references, so agree and validate their identifier format during migration. They do not provide a foreign-key relationship by themselves.

Create each trailer visits record with actual arrival timestamp and departure timestamp values, grace minutes and Revision. Preserve explicit UTC offsets on both timestamps. Configure and test the closure action to calculate detention minutes from these instants and grace minutes; do not import a manual replacement for its calculation. Preserve Loads.Revision and trailer visits.Revision with their respective decisions. For charge reviews, retain charge number, Amount and Currency in review decisions.Rationale and identify any supporting load revision explicitly.

Migration order

  1. Establish Organizations and Users, then link team members to their identities and organizations.
  2. Load Vehicles, Drivers, transport partners and Routes with stable source mappings.
  3. Import Loads with their organization, owner and counterparty; reconcile required promised delivery and freight amount values.
  4. Link load stops and load assignments, preserving stop line numbers and revisions. Reconcile active resource commitments before dispatch.
  5. Load trailer visits and tracking events, then connect proof of delivery to the correct load and stop.
  6. Add inspection, defect, maintenance and fuel history, then reconcile freight charges, record attachments, review decisions and operation receipts against their source references.
