How a Travel Insurance Platform rollout works

Pilot a policy, trip offer and claim with named decision owners.

  1. Set the operating scope

Choose an organization, policyholders and active team members. Assign policy, offer and claim owners.

  2. Prepare policy terms

Enter a policy with coverage lines, dates, premium and the right counterparty. Check revision handling on a changed term.

  3. Rehearse the offer

Submit a trip review with carrier quote and have Offer Reviewer record a decision and reason for the submitted version.

  4. Reconcile external events

Record a carrier result and premium event, then verify the provider identifiers before marking work complete.

  5. Rehearse a claim

Report a loss, assess the policy terms, authorize a benefit and link a verified payment event before closure.

What the customer provides

Provide the organization and policyholder list, policy terms, coverage codes, team members and decision owners. Supply sample carrier confirmations and provider event records that can be safely used in a rehearsal. Agree how to handle a returned offer, a failed operation and a benefit decision requiring more evidence. The first live cycle should use the same rules tested in the sample case.

Changing it afterwards

When carrier terms, coverage codes or access responsibilities change, update the operating rules and rehearse the affected handoff. Preserve the policy revision and endorsement record for a term change. Review submitted trip offers against the new terms before a decision. Check reports and team access after changing a role or organization assignment.
