Evidence to verification

Reconcile the recorded outcome to its source and resolve disputed or corrected evidence.

Step by step

  1. Gather the source context Evidence Reviewer

Evidence Reviewer opens the operational receipt and checks its event, source reference and recorded time. Find the relevant trip or inspection evidence and confirm the organization before using an attachment to support the result.

    • Identify the outcome and its evidence
    • Updates Operation receipts, Record attachments
  2. Compare the outcome Evidence Reviewer

Evidence Reviewer compares the receipt with the actual load, assignment or delivery record. Mark a consistent result Verified. Mark an inconsistent result Failed and explain what the responsible operating team needs to investigate.

    • Verify a consistent result or flag failure
    • Updates Loads, Load assignments, Proof of delivery, Operation receipts
  3. Decide changed scope Operations Manager

When correction changes the authorized load scope, Operations Manager approves or rejects the change and records a review decision with its rationale and revision. A rejected change does not authorize Dispatcher to apply it.

    • Record the scope decision and rationale
    • Updates Review decisions, Loads, Load assignments, Load stops
ApprovalA person approves before the work moves on.
  4. Apply the reviewed correction Dispatcher

Dispatcher checks the decision against the current load revision, then applies the approved correction or cancellation to the affected uncompleted work while retaining the actual trip context.

    • Apply the approved correction to uncompleted work
    • Updates Review decisions, Loads, Load assignments, Load stops
  5. Recheck the correction Evidence Reviewer

Evidence Reviewer compares the repaired source records with the receipt before marking it Corrected, then verifies the reconciled outcome. Check delivery disputes separately. A document uploaded after the trip still needs to match the intended load and stop before it supports verification.

    • Verify resolved evidence
    • Updates Operation receipts, Proof of delivery, Record attachments

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • A receipt refers to a display name that matches several operating records.
  • A review decision omits the revision the manager actually considered.
  • A corrected entry is treated as verified before the supporting outcome is checked.
  • Cancellation hides a trip that physically happened and still needs reconciliation.
