Click Get started and ask Proto to configure Vendor Management System for your team. Name the Procurement Manager, Buyer, Approver, Receiving Clerk and Controller who will rehearse the first case. Assign a person to review supplier identity and qualification evidence.
Prepare the first operating cycle
Choose one vendor in Onboarding, its primary contact, a category with known requirements and a dated certification. Add a current item or service, an agreement or rate if applicable, and one realistic purchase request. Walk through supplier review, RFQ comparison, order approval and a partial receipt. Keep the expected accounts payable and warehouse connection owners involved where those systems supply or receive evidence.
Review before release
Inspect the supplier’s status decision, qualification scope and expiry, the awarded response, the order’s approved revision and the receipt’s accepted quantity. Check the assigned Approver’s decision and the Supplier’s record access. Compare a draft scorecard with its source receipts before publication. Use the implementation plan to widen the rollout after this case is clear.
