Keys and references

The model contains 14 tables. Its record tables generally include Id; Users includes its own User reference and Email. People.User links staff identity to Users. Validate those references before invoking workflows or resolving personal queues.

Animal patients captures animal identity, while Patients holds the patient/client context. Operational record reaches that context through Encounters.Patient. Animal vaccinations reaches the encounter through its Animal and that animal’s operational record. Preserve these reference paths during migration.

Payments references Patient. Follow Charges.Encounter to Encounters.Patient for patient-scope reconciliation. Check the underlying service charges, receipt records and date boundaries before investigating a difference.

Migration order

  1. Staff identity. Resolve Users and People, including People.User.
  2. Patient context. Prepare Patients and assigned clinician references.
  3. Access evidence. Load clinical privileges, care team assignments and purpose-specific Consents with their validity information.
  4. Encounter context. Prepare Encounters against the correct Patient and Clinician.
  5. Animal and clinical records. Resolve animal patients.operational record before animal vaccinations; then prepare clinical notes and Observations under their encounter context.
  6. Follow-up and money. Prepare care tasks, Charges and Payments after their patient, clinician and encounter references are established. Check report-source projections separately.
