Keys and references

A video asset references its organization, owner and subscription plan. Review decisions, evidence documents, playback sessions, reconciliations, follow-up actions, state history and metric observations each reference one asset as Source or Parent. Runs reference an asset; steps reference a run; metric results reference a metric definition and a run; observations reference a snapshot. Metric definitions and source mappings reference a subscription plan.

Import assets by Number, people and organizations by Code, and playback sessions by source record id. Keep revisions and operation keys as they were recorded.

Migration order

  1. Load Organizations, then Users and People linked to their organization.
  2. Load subscription plans with effective dates and policy references.
  3. Load video assets with owner, plan and current Revision, then evidence documents and existing review decisions.
  4. Load source mappings and source snapshots, then approved metric definitions.
  5. Load playback sessions by source record id and open external reconciliations and follow up actions.
  6. Reconcile published titles, watched minutes and settled amounts with the source, test permissions and replay the exception cases before the next release week.
