Playback Operator authorizes a protected session for a published asset. The subscriber's entitlement reference is checked against the asset's subscription plan and its effective period.
The session is appended against the asset with its sequence, playback date, watched minutes, duration, playback errors, entitlement reference and source record identifier. Watched intervals are measured distinctly. The outcome starts as Pending.
The external outcome is confirmed and the session becomes Accepted, or it is Rejected with its reason. Each step keeps its input and output references.
If the outcome cannot be confirmed, the run is held as reconciliation required and the session stays Pending until it is resolved.
