Systems to connect
- Messaging. Choose how volunteers receive shift confirmations or changes through the channels your organization already uses.
- Screening provider. If an outside service performs checks, decide how its result and supporting certificate reach the Screening Reviewer.
- Reporting destination. Decide whether verified service totals need to be shared with another reporting system.
How connections are governed
Start with the owner and the exact record each connection updates or reads. A screening result should be reviewed against the volunteer and role before the screening status changes. A confirmation should follow the recorded assignment decision. Service totals sent elsewhere should use Verified entries. Keep external references and action failures visible through operation receipts where an assignment action uses them. Test a failed case as carefully as a successful one, and agree who reconciles it.
