Handling and maintenance teams
A handling or maintenance team often completes work in pieces. One worker prepares an area, another performs the task and a manager checks the result. The work order supplies a common parent for those activities. Its asset, owner, due date and planned hours set the plan; labor assignments staff zones; work evidence lines account for what happened.
How Warehouse Labor Management is set up for you
Asset context
Attach the job to the facility, dock, cell or handling asset where work is performed.
Separate periods
Record actual hours as evidence lines under the same work order when the job spans workers or shifts.
Supporting files
Keep a shift sheet or image with the parent job and choose Internal or Shared visibility intentionally.
Acceptance
Have Warehouse Manager compare the labor plan with recorded work before marking the job Accepted.

The work order supplies a common parent for those activities. Its asset, owner, due date and planned hours set the plan; labor assignments staff zones; work evidence lines account for what happened.
Select an asset with a recurring operational task. Create a work order with a precise subject, owner and planned hours. Shift Supervisor prepares coverage for the first shift and submits it. Labor Reviewer records a decision and reason. After the shift, Warehouse Worker enters an evidence line with actual hours and source reference. A second shift can add another line without replacing the first account of work.
Ask Warehouse Manager to review the job after both shifts. The manager should see the total actual hours alongside the planned estimate and inspect any attachment that explains a delay. If the work is ready, move it from Review to Accepted and then Closed. Keep another case open in Review when an evidence source needs clarification. That distinction gives the team a concrete acceptance rule instead of closing everything at shift end.
