Operation reconciliation and correction

An interrupted or failed action needs investigation before the advisor repeats it. Sales Manager compares the operation receipt with the opportunity and the effects already recorded. Relationship Owner supplies the business context and requests a correction only after the team understands what happened.

Step by step

  1. Identify the uncertain action Relationship Owner

Relationship Owner opens the receipt in the exception queue and checks its action, expected revision and failure reason. Keep the original operation key available. Distinguish an equivalent retry from a request whose inputs have changed.

    • Identify the action and intended revision
    • Updates Operation receipts, Opportunities
  2. Compare local effects Sales Manager

Sales Manager selects reconciliation and reads the pending or failed receipt alongside sibling receipts for the same opportunity. Compare the parent revision and linked effects with the intended action. An isolated success message is insufficient when the linked records disagree.

    • Compare the intended action with actual linked effects
    • Updates Operation receipts, Opportunities, Relationship activities, Review decisions
  3. Check the authoritative source Sales Manager

When the receipt carries an external reference, Sales Manager checks the configured source responsible for that result. Confirm that it concerns the same scope and identity. If the source is unavailable or disagrees, keep the result under investigation with a useful reason.

    • Resolve an external reference through its configured source
    • Updates Operation receipts
  4. Resolve the remaining work Sales Manager or Relationship Owner

Sales Manager verifies completion only when the observed effects agree. Relationship Owner requests correction or cancellation against the current opportunity with a reason. Separate unexecuted scope from accepted or executed effects and preserve the evidence of completed work.

    • Reconcile the result or request a reasoned correction
    • Updates Opportunities, Operation receipts, Relationship activities, Review decisions

Where it usually breaks

And how to keep it from happening.

  • A retry becomes a second request. Preserve the stable key for equivalent input and reject conflicting reuse.
  • The parent has changed. Read its current revision before correcting it. An older request must not overwrite newer relationship work.
  • Completed work is erased. Review the linked effects before cancellation. Keep accepted evidence intact while resolving unexecuted scope.
