Who it's for

Program accreditation teams

Program accreditation teams often collect observations from several teaching or administrative sources for the same assessment cycle. The team needs to explain what each observation represents and which framework governs its review. Use a clearly named cycle under the appropriate institution and standard, retaining source references for the evidence contributed by the program.

How Accreditation Management is set up for you

Framework selection

Administrator checks the standard code, effective period and policy reference. The operator selects that framework when preparing the cycle so the reviewer knows which requirements informed the work.

Evidence meaning

Keep a quantity with its unit and observation date. When a source extract changes from a count to a percentage, review the mapping and underlying evidence before submitting the cycle.

Review response

A reviewer can return the submitted revision with an explanation and evidence reference. The preparation team should be able to identify the exact observation requiring correction from that reason.

Delivery context

Retain the approved revision and its delivery reference. Later corrections preserve the earlier outcome and pass through a fresh independent decision.

Program accreditation teams often collect observations from several teaching or administrative sources for the same assessment cycle. The team needs to explain what each observation represents and which framework governs its review. Use a clearly named cycle under the appropriate institution and standard, retaining source references for the evidence contributed by the program.

Select a program cycle whose standard and evidence sources are already understood by the quality team. Agree a recognizable cycle name and assign a preparation owner. Include representative observations with supporting documents and ask the reviewer to trace them to their original departmental sources.

Rehearse a returned decision caused by an incorrect observation unit, then resolve it through the review handoff. After delivery, introduce a documented correction and compare the successor with the preserved earlier revision. Where the program submits to an external accreditation service, agree the connection and acknowledgment with that service's owner before using it for the pilot. Keep the accrediting body's formal assessment separate from the institution's internal approval of its submission.

Roles on the team

Administrator
Maintains approved accreditation configuration: record entry on Accreditation Standards, read-only on all operational, review and provenance tables, and access to all four accreditation pages. No schema editing, deletion, bulk operations or export grants.
Accreditation Management Operator
Prepares assigned work: record entry on Accreditation Cycles, Criterion Evidence, Follow Up Actions and Evidence Documents, read-only on configuration, review and provenance tables. Scope to authorized organizations is enforced by workflow guards.
Accreditation Management Reviewer
Reviews independent assigned work: record entry on Review Decisions only, read-only on every other table. Reviewers cannot approve their own preparation; the workflow guards enforce reviewer independence.
Read Only Analyst
