How a Airport Operations rollout works

Rehearse a bounded airport ground operation before extending the working scope.

  1. Agree the operating boundary

Property Manager identifies the fleet, customers and ground movements for the pilot. Choose the operating time zone and the person who approves dispatch. Finance Officer agrees the currency and the close condition for an outstanding account.

  2. Prepare identities and references

Admin checks staff accounts and active people. Property Manager reviews customer names, vehicle numbers and capacities. Match source identities before bringing in open trips or their supporting evidence.

  3. Configure the working handoffs

Use Proto to prepare dispatch, flight capture, gate review and service completion with the named owners. Agree how the review route records decisions and which person carries out the resulting change.

  4. Rehearse real exceptions

Test overlapping vehicle requests, excessive passenger counts and a repeated dispatch submission. Capture a flight turn against an incorrect trip and practice correction. Check staff assignment and confirm that an unresolved financial difference prevents premature completion.

  5. Reconcile the first cycle

Finance Officer checks posted charges and confirmed documents separately. Property Manager checks completed trips and fleet readiness. The operating team accepts the handoffs before moving further customers or shifts into the system.

What the customer provides

  • Customer and provider names with recognizable operating references.
  • Fleet identifiers, types, capacities and current readiness states.
  • Planned trip windows, expected passengers and flight arrival information.
  • Staff identities, assignment responsibilities and review owners.
  • Opening charges, transport document references and the outstanding-account policy.

Changing it afterwards

Ask Proto to prepare a bounded change, then review it with the owner of the affected work. Replay the dispatch and close cases when changing permissions or lifecycle handling. Check the effect on open trips and connected sources before release. Keep the original pilot records available so the team can compare the revised behavior with an understood operating cycle.
