Integrations and source ownership

• Request source. If requests begin in a purchasing or other business system, agree the source identifier and the fields that become the approval request. Review mapping types, transformation rules and version with Approval Coordinator before importing real work.
• Document source. Connect a document repository when supporting evidence lives elsewhere. Agree whether the reviewer uses an attached copy or an external reference, and check that the relevant people can open the material they must review.
• Execution destination. Set up the business system that carries out the approved command. Execution Operator needs a provider reference and receipt evidence sufficient to distinguish a successful result from an uncertain response.
• Staff identity source. Agree how staff records and active status are maintained, then map the permitted account to its person record. Admin checks this mapping with ordinary accounts before enabling personal request and approval queues.

Each connection is a setup choice with a named owner. Agree the field mapping and the identity used to recognize an existing operation. Keep credentials in the approved secret store and give the connection the access needed for its specific action. Record any rejected or uncertain result with enough context for the operator to investigate.

Rehearse a repeated source event, a changed request and an interrupted destination response. Check the existing provider result before repeating an uncertain action. Preserve original step receipts when correcting a request so the destination owner can explain any required adjustment. Provider access and behavior must be reviewed as part of implementation.
