Create your account

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Asset Tracking for your business. Name the Asset Manager and Maintenance Planner who will coordinate the pilot, then confirm the operating accounts for Technician, Maintenance Approver and Parts Coordinator.

Prepare the first operating cycle

Choose equipment the team can identify by tag and serial number. Bring its service interval and dates, a meter reading with an agreed unit and limit, and the warranty record needed for the maintenance decision. Prepare the consumed part with its catalog unit and reconciled stock balance.

Follow the implementation phases to map people and authority. Keep the initial service case narrow enough that the participants can inspect every record involved in the handoff.

Review before release

Authorize eligible work using current approved coverage, then record the Technician’s intervention and post its parts. Verify that retrying the same consumption does not reduce stock twice. Accept the inspection and confirm the ticket, certificate and asset state together. Check personal access and the owners of preventive-date and reorder follow-up before beginning the operating cycle.
