What you can do

Carry the confirmed visit into service

Property Manager starts service against a confirmed appointment. The appointment and chair move to in service, giving reception a common view of which station is occupied. The service team can then record the work that supports the visit, including sanitizing, maintenance and client-service tickets. Each ticket identifies the chair, appointment and assigned team member.

A ticket makes the next action visible to the person expected to do it. Its due date helps the team prioritize work, and its completion date records when that task was finished. These details support a handoff during a busy shift, when a verbal request can otherwise become separated from the chair that needs attention.

How the work is organized

  • Start from a confirmed visit. Use the service-start action for the intended appointment. Check the client and chair before submitting it. The start path validates the acting staff identity and current appointment state before applying the change.
  • Assign the specific work. Front Desk Agent or Property Manager creates the ticket, selects its type and links the responsible team member. Open, Assigned and in progress distinguish work waiting for an owner from work being carried out.
  • Close the task carefully. Record Completed and the completion date when the assigned work is finished. A sanitizing task still needs the inspection decision before the chair is released. Keep the appointment’s completion and the ticket’s completion distinct in the handoff.

What to agree during setup

Map each team member to the right platform user before enabling personal work lists. A person using My service tickets should see the tasks assigned to their own staff identity. Check that the assignment survives a staff name correction and that another user cannot gain access merely by selecting the same display name.

Agree how reception uses the ticket types. Sanitizing identifies the cleaning work needed between clients. Maintenance gives the team a place to assign station repairs. client-service captures work attached to a client’s visit. Decide who sets due dates and who reviews unfinished tickets before the shift changes.

Check the handoff on an actual case

Start a confirmed appointment at chair A, then create a client-service ticket for the team member helping that client. The assignee opens My service tickets, checks the linked visit and moves the task through its working states. Property Manager uses Open service tickets to follow the handoff without changing the assignee merely to view the work.

At the end of service, submit the reviewed final charges and reconcile the payment position. When the appointment becomes Completed, create or verify the required sanitizing work for chair A. The assigned person records the task outcome. Operations Reviewer checks the inspection before the chair becomes Available again.

Repeat the service-start request with the same operation identity during rehearsal. The saved result should be returned without another charge or ticket being appended. Try starting an appointment that is still Requested as well. Resolve the booking checks first, so the service team receives a confirmed visit with a valid chair commitment.

What your team sees

  • My service tickets — Work assigned to the signed-in team member, with due and completion dates.
  • Open service tickets — Unfinished sanitizing, maintenance and client-service work for the shift handoff.
