What you can do

Review the day from the visit outward

Shop Overview brings appointment activity into a common review page. Its client, chair and status controls let the team narrow the intake period and inspect the relevant appointments. The page includes operational state summaries and a recent evidence queue with linked add-on evidence. Property Manager can use that starting point to find the visit that needs attention, then open its underlying records.

The appointment workboard supports a different question: which visits are still Requested, Confirmed or in service? Reception can use those states during a shift handoff without treating every request as an accepted booking. Chair readiness and assigned tickets add the context needed to understand why the next client is waiting.

How the work is organized

  • Read the period carefully. Shop Overview scopes its intake period by when appointments were created. The appointment schedule uses the planned service interval. A future visit booked today belongs to today’s intake even though its service happens later.
  • Trace the operational cause. Follow a delayed visit to its chair and unfinished service tickets. A chair marked Sanitizing needs its cleaning and inspection handoff. A Requested appointment needs its confirmation checks before reception treats the slot as committed.
  • Review the financial evidence. Finance Officer checks posted charges and confirmed payments for the selected appointment. The overview helps locate the work; the linked financial records explain whether a receipt is still Pending or a charge remains Draft.

What to agree during setup

Choose the review period used at shift change and name the person responsible for each unresolved item. Property Manager reviews appointments and chair readiness. Front Desk Agent follows bookings and assigned service work. Finance Officer resolves financial questions, and Operations Reviewer checks decisions that require authorization.

Agree how the team uses the reports before comparing days. Scheduled chair intervals lists the planned start and end of each included appointment. Service ticket workload groups assigned tasks and their states. A chair readiness snapshot describes the current station state at review time. Each result answers a different operating question, so record the period and included statuses when discussing it.

Check the handoff on an actual case

Create a request today for a visit tomorrow, then open Shop Overview for today’s intake. The new request belongs to that period. Open the appointment schedule for tomorrow and check the planned time after confirmation. This comparison teaches the team why the overview’s intake population and the service schedule can differ without either being wrong.

Next, follow an in service appointment with an unfinished client-service ticket and a pending payment. Front Desk Agent takes ownership of the ticket handoff. Finance Officer checks the payment reference. Property Manager keeps the appointment’s operational state accurate while each person resolves their part. Operations Reviewer examines the final charge decision when the visit is ready for completion.

At shift end, review a chair still marked Sanitizing. Open its assigned work and establish whether the inspection has passed before promising that chair to the next arrival. Keep that decision with the responsible reviewer, then refresh the appointment detail and overview so the next shift begins from the recorded outcome.
