Get Bin / Location Management running in four steps.

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Bin / Location Management for your business. Confirm the operating organization and the accounts used by the Inventory Clerk, Inventory Supervisor and Auditor. Agree the location codes that staff will recognize on the floor.

Choose a familiar item and confirm its base unit, tracking mode and opening lot balance. Prepare a stock request with an assigned owner and required date. For a placement decision, record the zone, capacity and required space on the linked slotting plan, then have a separate Inventory Supervisor decide it.

Rehearse a reservation within free stock and an excessive request that produces a shortfall. Approve the stock scope, execute the movement and compare the lot balance with the signed effect. Include the documents staff normally use to explain the request.

Refuse creator self-approval of a slotting plan and test a stale revision. Repeat a successful stock action to confirm it does not apply the quantity twice. Cancel a held commitment, reverse a posted movement and inspect the retained history. Have the Auditor trace a verified result and a failed mismatch. Agree the supervisor’s exception routine before extending the pilot.
