Systems to connect
- Identity provider. Map each signed-in person to the correct user and team member, then review organization scope when membership changes.
- Document repository. Agree where original files live and how revision and content hashes are carried into legal document records.
- Filing or court portal. Bring completion references into the matter deadline and event records after the external source confirms them.
- Calendar service. Use the matter deadline owner and due date for reminders, with the matter remaining the operational record.
How connections are governed
Agree source ownership, identifier mapping and who reconciles failed imports before enabling any connection. An external receipt should retain the reference that identifies the source event. A retry should be checked against the existing operation key and expected revision so a delayed response does not lead to an unexamined duplicate action. Review access to attachments and document files from direct links as well as app pages.
Use the implementation plan to define each connection’s acceptance case.
