Multi-clinician practice
A practice with several clinicians needs a clear link between patient, visit and responsible team member. The patient's assigned clinician gives intake a starting point. Care team assignments explain the purpose and dates of additional clinical access. Clinical privileges record verification evidence and effective periods for each clinician. The consultation then names the clinician responsible for that particular visit.
How Cosmetic Surgery Practice is set up for you
Maintain the roster
Team members link to platform users and carry an active state, giving administrators a person to assign to care work.
Bound the assignment
Each care team assignment has a patient, clinician, purpose, effective period and Active or Ended state.
Review privilege dates
A privilege can be Pending, Verified, Suspended or Expired. Its effective dates matter when planning a future visit.
Separate each clinician's work
A clinician can use My consultations and My follow-up to find their assigned records while coordinators see the broader queue.

Begin with the staff who will take part in a pilot operating cycle. Give each clinician a team member record linked to the appropriate user. Record a verified privilege with evidence for one clinician, then assign that clinician to a patient for a stated access purpose. Schedule a consultation with the same clinician and check it appears in their work list. Assign a follow-up task and check that the assignee can find it.
Now change the assignment to Ended and use a second clinician for a later visit. Check that the historical assignment remains visible and the new visit has the intended clinician. Rehearse an Expired privilege before the procedure date and agree who corrects the scheduling or verification record. Use the [care team module](/cosmetic-surgery-practice/modules/care-team-and-privileges) and [roles page](/cosmetic-surgery-practice/roles) to settle access during setup.
