Agree operating scope
The App Administrator confirms organizations, eligible customers and authenticated team membership. Name the Quote Specialist and a separate Pricing Reviewer for the pilot.
Prepare a room quote
Enter a recognizable room name, finish, seat count and required date. Link the furniture lines to the quote and agree the source price book reference and USD amounts.
Rehearse the decision
Price the draft, submit the room package and inspect the current revision. Test independent approval and a returned case, then record customer acceptance within the validity window.
Connect the handoff
Configure the agreed order destination. Verify an actual response and its external reference, then repeat the same request to check that its effect is not duplicated.
Practice recovery
Investigate a pending receipt, test a stale revision and rehearse an approved compensating action for accepted scope. Have the Auditor inspect the retained history.
What the customer provides
Bring a representative room quote with its product codes, quantities and selling prices. Include the price book reference and the evidence normally used to explain a finish choice or discount. Supply the operating organization and customer details, along with the names of the people preparing and reviewing quotes.
Identify the downstream order system and who maintains its connection. Agree what response confirms acceptance by that destination and how unresolved results are escalated. Use real operating choices in the rehearsal so the team can recognize the case when work begins.
Changing it afterwards
Review changes to pricing preparation, permissions or connections with the responsible team. Rehearse changed behavior against the current quote revision and retain earlier decision evidence. Accepted scope requires an authorized compensating action when an executed effect needs correction. See correction and reconciliation for that path.
