What you can do

Show the reviewer exactly what is being linked

An account-support link belongs to a ticket and organization. Service Agent prepares the account reference, linked date, open-ticket value and entitlement using the real evidence for the customer request. The reviewer needs to understand which account is involved and what support arrangement the proposed link is intended to represent.

The linking process takes the record from Draft to Submitted and fixes the submitted revision for review. Service Supervisor then approves, rejects or returns that revision with a reason. Approval permits the accepted work to proceed; Completed is reserved for the point at which the link’s effects have actually persisted.

How the work is organized

  • Evidence preparation. Service Agent records the account and entitlement details against the correct ticket and organization. Attachments can provide supporting evidence under the team’s visibility rules.
  • Independent review. Service Supervisor reviews the same submitted revision and retains the decision, reviewer and reason. A later change to the source must not silently inherit an approval of earlier content.
  • Effect confirmation. The guarded linking action records completion after the accepted effects persist. The operation receipt and linked evidence help the team distinguish a completed link from a request that was only approved or attempted.

What to agree during setup

Agree what the account reference identifies and what evidence establishes the entitlement. Define how the open-ticket value is obtained and checked for the decision. Keep that value interpretable as part of the submitted record rather than assuming that it always represents a current live total.

Choose how returned submissions are corrected and resubmitted, and confirm that Service Supervisor is independent of the preparer for the eligible revision. Agree the exact effect that constitutes a completed link. If an external account system is involved, configure its identity mapping and permitted action before rehearsing completion.

Check the handoff on an actual case

Use a ticket from a customer asking for help with access to an existing account. Service Agent prepares the support link with the account reference and entitlement evidence. Submit the record, then have Service Supervisor inspect that exact revision and its ticket context.

Return the first submission with a reason when the account evidence needs clarification. Correct it through the agreed path and submit the resulting revision for review. The supervisor should be able to distinguish the earlier decision from the new request. Approve the eligible revision and follow the guarded action through to its persisted effect.

Check the completed link and operation receipt together. A successful review decision should not be mistaken for a completed account action if the effect is still pending or has failed. Finally, attempt to use the earlier approval after changing the source revision and confirm that it cannot authorize different content without the required review.

What your team sees

  • Support Link Review Queue — Submitted account-support records with the revision and entitlement under review.
  • Support Link Drafts — Prepared account details that have not yet completed the submission handoff.
  • Decision History — The reviewer, source revision and reason behind each recorded decision.

Follow the work through

Rehearse Support link to completion, then use Correction and receipt reconciliation when an attempted effect needs investigation.
