How a Environmental Compliance rollout works

Set up an operating unit, rehearse review and expand with traceable evidence.

  1. Define scope

Choose an organization, business unit, assessment owner and independent reviewer. Agree permit identifiers and measurement units.

  2. Load context

Add team members, scored risks and active controls for the pilot unit.

  3. Plan a period

Create an assessment with dates, scope and planned control tests.

  4. Exercise decisions

Record test exceptions, a permit reading with evidence, a reviewer decision and the resulting operation receipt.

  5. Close corrective work

Assign a finding and action, record a retest, and inspect open work before closing the assessment.

What the customer provides

Bring the operating unit list and contacts, named owners and reviewers, the scoring scale, current controls, representative permit readings and the source evidence for a pilot period. Identify the system that holds permit limits and any filing process that consumes reviewed results. Choose one normal case and one missing-evidence case for rehearsal.

Changing it afterwards

When a control, unit contact or reviewer changes, keep the historical assessment and its linked decisions understandable. Review active work before changing ownership. A changed measurement should receive a review of its current revision. Use the data model to plan imports and roles to rehearse access.
