How a Environmental Conservation rollout works

Start with one site, one restoration cycle and a reviewable field handoff.

  1. Agree the site scope

Choose a location, its field code, availability and survey source. Name the manager, surveyor, operator and finding reviewer.

  2. Map the records

Connect people to user accounts, surveys to sites, tasks to cycles and treatment use to lots. Keep units and dates with measurements.

  3. Configure a bounded pilot

Start one site cycle with a surveyed boundary, planned task and expected completion.

  4. Rehearse decisions

Check an unavailable site, expired stock lot, wrong unit, duplicate use request and finding with a missing unit. Confirm the decision returns to the appropriate person.

  5. Reconcile and release

Compare the source site and lot balances with accepted records. Review access from each role and retain a copy of the original import before opening further sites.

What the customer provides

  • Site names, field codes, locations, area and availability.
  • Survey geometry, survey dates and measurement units.
  • Current cycle plans, assigned work and people to user account mapping.
  • Treatment lot quantities, units and expiry dates.
  • Review criteria for task approval and accepted findings.

Changing it afterwards

Use Proto to prepare a change and review its effect on site references, working screens, permissions and reports with the responsible people. Rehearse the pilot exceptions after changes to approval or capture behavior. Keep historic task and finding attribution tied to the original person.
