Integrations and source ownership

Agree where survey geometry, identity and treatment purchasing originate.

  • Environmental Conservation
  • Mapping source
  • Identity provider
  • Treatment purchasing
  • Field capture

Systems to connect

  • Mapping source. Bring surveyed geometry and area into habitat records with the site and survey date retained.
  • Identity provider. Connect user accounts to named people so assignments and review decisions resolve to the actor.
  • Treatment purchasing. Bring lot and quantity information into stock records when another system owns procurement.
  • Field capture. Agree how mobile capture sends dated observations, task progress and applications when a team works away from its desk.

How connections are governed

Name the source of truth for each value and the person who resolves a rejected record. Use stable source identities and operation keys where a field capture may be retried. A repeated boundary capture or treatment use should not create a second record or consume stock again. Check the site, person, unit and date before accepting an event; retain a visible exception for a missing reference. Protect credentials in the approved secret store and test an expired account before field deployment.
