- Implementation plan
How a Aerospace ERP rollout works
Pilot one entity and a complete order, receipt, delivery and collection cycle.
Set the operating basis
Choose an entity, currency, users, authority limits, product units, warehouses and accounting period.
Load trading partners and stock
Review customer and supplier terms, active products, available positions and opening balances.
Rehearse commitments
Run a customer offer and approval, a supplier purchase and a partial receipt.
Rehearse execution
Reserve stock, pick, dispatch, record a partial delivery and authorize a bounded return.
Reconcile finance
Approve an invoice, apply customer cash, review a supplier payment and close an agreed period.
What the customer provides
Provide clean identifiers for products, customers, suppliers and warehouses; approved terms and prices; opening stock and financial balances; decision owners; and the evidence format used by carriers and banks. Agree the entity and currency for each imported record before migration.
Changing it afterwards
Use new effective master versions and reviewed corrections for changed terms or costs. Retain accepted orders and posted transactions on their original basis. Rehearse every new warehouse, currency or approval path before wider use. Review roles and the model.
