How a Furniture ERP rollout works
Start with one operating cycle and confirm every handoff before expanding.
Define scope
Choose the entity, warehouse, dealer group, product units, currency and approval owners.
Load masters
Review active customers, suppliers, products, locations, prices, cost versions and access.
Rehearse trade
Prepare an order and purchase, receive accepted stock and fulfill a representative delivery.
Rehearse exceptions
Run a partial receipt, delivery refusal, return and corrected invoice.
Reconcile books
Check cash, bank statement, open invoices and period close work against the source records.
What the customer provides
Provide a current product list, customer and supplier identities, entity structure, warehouse locations, price and cost basis, tax treatment, opening balances and the people who make approval decisions. Name an owner for any external carrier or bank connection. Bring a representative partial order so the team can test remaining quantity.
Changing it afterwards
Review new product, price, recipe and policy versions before activation. Keep source revisions and approval history intact when an order or financial record changes. Add sites and entities only after their stock and books reconcile independently. Use roles to check access after every change.
