Who it's for

Jewelry wholesalers

A jewelry wholesaler serves trade buyers who expect clear price, quantity and delivery commitments. The operating cycle starts with a dealer account and product unit, moves through a reviewed order, and ends with actual delivery and settlement evidence. Use a defined saleable product record for each item your team needs to buy, hold and sell. A price list sets the commercial starting point; the accepted quote retains the basis used for the order.

How Jewelry ERP is set up for you

Dealer demand

Sales Representative prepares offers and follows the original promise, any revised date and the remaining accepted quantity.

Credit decision

Sales Manager approves the order, while Finance Manager reviews a bounded exposure exception when the dealer's available limit is insufficient.

Stock ownership

Warehouse Manager distinguishes available, held, picked and transit quantity before making another promise.

Collections

Accountant invoices eligible title-transferred quantity and applies confirmed cash to the intended balance.

Start with one selling entity, a small product range, a current dealer list and one warehouse. Rehearse a priced quote, a partial order shipment and a partial receipt. Keep the original offer and delivery promise visible. Then run a second order that requires credit review. The Finance Manager should see the exact additional exposure while the Sales Manager sees the commercial acceptance decision.

Add supplier purchasing once product units, receiving locations and cost basis are agreed. A supplier arrival can be accepted in part without making the rest available. Follow that accepted quantity into a pick and dealer delivery, then trace the billed quantity back to the same order line. If the dealer refuses a unit, handle the physical result and later credit as linked but separate work.

The team should decide its title rule, bank evidence source and amount authorities before using the cycle for live settlement. [See dealer order to settlement](/erp-for-jewelry/processes/dealer-order-to-settlement) and [plan the implementation](/erp-for-jewelry/implementation).
