Assembly and kit teams
A team combining stocked items into saleable kits can trace component issue, output and cost through a bounded work order. Sales, warehouse and finance share the same accepted quantity and entity context without treating an order promise as a completed shipment.
How Media ERP is set up for you
Commercial handoff
Sales Representative prepares the customer offer and Sales Manager approves accepted order scope. A credit exception belongs to Finance Manager.
Stock handoff
Warehouse Operator records arrival, picks and actual dispatch. Warehouse Manager owns location, transfer, route and count decisions.
Financial handoff
Accountant prepares invoices and settlement allocations while Finance Manager decides the approvals and close.
A team combining stocked items into saleable kits can trace component issue, output and cost through a bounded work order. Sales, warehouse and finance share the same accepted quantity and entity context without treating an order promise as a completed shipment.
A practical case begins with an active assembly for a kit made from stocked components. Warehouse Manager checks the effective recipe, route and planned output before releasing the work order. Warehouse Operator records actual component use and completed output. Finance Manager reviews a remaining cost variance before close. Only the posted output becomes stock available for a later customer order.
A partial outcome should leave a visible remainder for the next action. The team can compare the original promise, the accepted order and each actual movement without overwriting the first decision. When a customer sends goods back, authorization, physical arrival, disposition and credit remain separately reviewable.
Pilot one approved assembly, assigned work, a partial completion and a reviewed variance. Add a supplier receipt, a return and a period-close task to the rehearsal before widening use. Agree who owns product codes, location names, pricing, approval limits and bank evidence. Use the same identifiers in imported balances and new transactions so the pilot can be reconciled.

Features to start with
Returns
A return authorization fixes the original commercial or receipt scope and requested quantity. Physical receipt, stock disposition and financial credit are separate decisions.
Finance
Financial documents preserve the entity, currency, rate, original transaction and approval basis. Actual money evidence drives settlement; posted history is corrected through linked reversals.
Customer orders
A sales representative prepares the offer against a named customer, entity, selling unit and current price basis. The accepted order carries quantity, net value, ship-to details and the title rule into fulfillment.
