Assembly and kitting
A business that assembles or repacks purchased products can connect component stock to a finished output and dealer commitment. Begin with the work the team already records and give each decision a named owner.
How Plastics ERP is set up for you
Recipe basis
Use a reviewed BOM with an explicit output base quantity and component requirements.
Released work
Approve a work order against the active recipe, routing and standard cost.
Actual consumption
Record issued and returned material plus completed output rather than inferring completion from a plan.
Cost review
Follow material, labor and overhead entries into work-in-process and resolve residual variance.
A business that assembles or repacks purchased products can connect component stock to a finished output and dealer commitment. Begin with the work the team already records and give each decision a named owner.
Choose one kit with two components and a reviewed bill of materials, routing and standard cost. Confirm the output base quantity and product units before Warehouse Manager releases the work order. A later recipe change should create a fresh review rather than changing the frozen released basis.
Warehouse Operator issues the actual components and records operation work. If only part of the kit order is completed, record the finished quantity and leave the rest open. Compare material returns and work order cost entries with the completed output. Warehouse Manager resolves residual work-in-process variance before close; Finance Manager reviews the separate value decision when required.
Reserve the finished goods for a dealer order, then record dispatch and the delivery result. Accountant matches the posted output and shipment effects to the entity books. Use the same source documents for a correction so an earlier issue or completion cannot be counted twice.
