Prepare the first operating cycle
Choose an active client engagement with an agreed fee, hours budget, manager, and delivery dates. Add team members with current rates and capacity. Enter a service line, time, an expense, a milestone with a due date and amount, and a linked payment. Name a service reviewer to follow approval results and a milestone approver to decide when a deliverable is ready for billing.
Review before release
Submit a valid service line and check its automatic approval decision and successful operation receipt. Try a line without hours and confirm it stays Submitted. Approve a milestone and run the invoice action; check both a successful case and a case with no amount. Record a confirmed payment and review overdue and disputed items. Open Engagement Margin Desk for the pilot engagement before expanding to the wider client portfolio. See implementation for the rollout sequence.
