How a Exhibition / Trade Show rollout works

Pilot one event from venue selection through admission and close.

  1. Agree the event boundary

Choose the operating organization, venue, event owner, reviewer and admission capacity. Decide who verifies provider captures and who handles uncertain actions.

  2. Map the source records

Prepare organization and venue codes, team membership, event numbers, exhibitor organizations and provider references. Preserve parent links and current revisions.

  3. Configure a bounded pilot

Build one upcoming event, its booth assignments and admission lines. Use the Events calendar and selected-record detail to rehearse parent selection.

  4. Rehearse the exceptions

Try a stale revision, wrong organization, repeated admission scan, duplicate provider event and a paid booth without verified capture. Record the expected rejection or review result.

  5. Review and release

Have separate people prepare and decide the event and booth work. Compare admissions, booth allocation, provider captures and unresolved operation receipts before opening the live event.

What the customer provides

  • Operating and exhibitor organizations, staff identities and venue records.
  • Event windows, capacities, venue eligibility notes and booth layout rules.
  • Admission references, pricing policy and provider payment event mappings.
  • Review policy for events, booths, cancellations and executed-scope corrections.

Changing it afterwards

Use Proto to prepare a change and review its effect on event revisions, access and provider mappings. Rehearse changed capacity, an already admitted visitor and a completed booth before release. Preserve the original decision and payment evidence when a correction is approved.
