How a Food Bank Management rollout works

Set up operating scope, stock identity and review controls before the first assistance cycle.

  1. Scope

Establish organizations, active locations, Team Members and the people who may prepare or review work.

  2. Stock

Load items with base units, then lots with expiry and release states. Reconcile starting movement history.

  3. Requests

Configure request ownership, status handling and attachment conventions. Rehearse revision-specific review.

  4. Operations

Test eligible reservations, posted movements, stable operation keys and receipt exceptions.

  5. Allocations

Prepare and review one assistance allocation against a real parent request and stock evidence.

  6. Release

Check permissions, reports and the external confirmation route before wider use.

What the customer provides

Provide organization and location codes, item names and base units, lot codes and expiry dates, member assignments, reviewer rules, and sample requests and allocations. Identify the owner and source of any distribution confirmation. Agree how historical posted effects and reversals will be represented.

Changing it afterwards

A changed request needs a new revision-specific review decision. A changed allocation needs a new revision and another approval check. Posted movements remain historical; corrections use linked reversal evidence. Recheck role access when people change organizations. Use roles and data model during each change.
