• Identity directory. Map people to Users and team members so assessment owners and independent reviewers have clear identities.
• Policy source. Agree how campus reviewers will cite the policy reference used for each control review.
• Evidence source. Decide whether evidence references point to a managed document location or whether files are attached to the assessment with internal or shared visibility.

Choose an owner for each source and document its identifier format before importing records. Test one person, one policy reference and one attachment through a real assessment. Keep the evidence location accessible to the intended reviewer and protect material marked internal. If a source identifier changes, update the reference deliberately so an older test or decision can still be explained. Prepare the first cycle with these choices in place.
