How a Group Insurance Admin rollout works

Start with one employer group and rehearse the decisions that issue and service its policy.

  1. Set the organization

Create the employer organization, policyholder group and team members with their assigned roles.

  2. Prepare a policy

Record the policy owner, effective date, premium and dated coverage lines.

  3. Rehearse review

Submit an eligibility extension and policy revision; have an independent underwriter decide each with a reason.

  4. Connect evidence

Map carrier identifiers, premium events and benefit payment events to their records and operation receipts.

  5. Test a claim

Report a dated loss, review applicable coverage, record a decision and reconcile a confirmed payment.

What the customer provides

Bring the current employer and policyholder identifiers, policy terms, coverage windows, premium amounts, authorized underwriters and sample claim evidence. Identify the carrier and payment systems that return external references. Decide which evidence can be shared and who follows unresolved operation receipts.

Changing it afterwards

Use a new revision and review decision for material policy or eligibility changes. Keep prior coverage windows and endorsements available for claims with earlier loss dates. Rehearse role changes and duplicate provider events before expanding to more organizations. The roles and data model pages support that review.
