What you can do
Review the operating picture
The Business Overview page gives staff a scoped booking view over the selected intake period, compact measures, a status distribution and a recent evidence queue with linked add-on information. Property Manager can use it to decide which requested or active visits need attention. It is a starting point for opening the underlying booking, resource and linked specialty records.
Reports answer narrower questions. Bookings by state separates requested work from confirmed and active visits. Resource readiness shows which rooms are available, occupied, cleaning or under maintenance. Extension and wig activity groups specialty bookings by type and date. Service work due points to tasks whose due dates need attention. Finance Officer can review posted charges by booking and payments by receipt status.
How the work is organized
- Visit activity. Read booking dates, resource and status together before interpreting volume.
- Operational follow-up. Open the task and resource behind an exception before assigning work.
- Financial review. Compare the charges and payments linked to one booking.
What to agree during setup
Decide how often managers review the booking workboard and resource readiness. Agree a daily owner for overdue service tasks and pending receipts. Choose the booking period used for regular operating review, and be consistent when comparing periods. A rate plan coverage review should use the plan’s effective dates and resource type. The Operations Reviewer should know which underlying record and evidence is authoritative for each decision.
Check the handoff on an actual case
The overview shows several requested visits and one room in cleaning. Property Manager opens the booking requests and resolves a room conflict with Front Desk Agent, who checks dates and capacity before confirmation. Front Desk Agent checks the cleaning task for the room in cleaning. Finance Officer follows the pending payment for a completed visit through its booking and charge records. Each person can move from the summary to the actual record they own.
Rehearse a report that shows a payment as pending while the booking is already checked out. Finance Officer checks the received date, reference and source before changing the payment state. The manager reviews why checkout and payment timing differ, while retaining the booking’s actual visit history.
