Who it's for

Clinical quality registries

Clinical registries and quality collaboratives collect deidentified data from participating organizations and publish comparative measures. Their work depends on stable measure definitions and on being able to show which data produced a published figure. Start with the measures and participants your registry already reports.

How Healthcare Analytics is set up for you

Versioned measure definitions

Each metric definition records its grain, expressions, aggregation method and version, and a retired version stays readable for older results.

Participant organizations

Each participant is an organization with its own outcome definitions and cohorts, and people are scoped to the organizations they work for.

Run history for every publication

Each construction and publication run records its operation key, input hash, numbered steps and result reference, so a published figure can be traced to the run that produced it.

Suppression with a reason

Results with a zero denominator or too few cases are stored as suppressed with the reason recorded.

Clinical registries and quality collaboratives collect deidentified data from participating organizations and publish comparative measures. Their work depends on stable measure definitions and on being able to show which data produced a published figure. Start with the measures and participants your registry already reports.

Pilot one registry measure with a small group of participants for one reporting period. Map each participant's extract with versioned source mappings, capture the snapshots, and take each cohort through review and publication. Agree the suppression threshold before the first calculation. Compare the published results with the registry's previous figures before adding measures or participants.
