Create your account
Click Get started to begin configuring Hostel Management with Proto. Identify the Property Manager, Front Desk Agent, Finance Officer and Operations Reviewer who will use the first operating cycle. Review their access against roles.
Prepare the first operating cycle
Gather your active units with numbers, types, capacities and current statuses. Add the parties and stays needed for a near-term arrival and departure. Include one cleaning task, one folio charge and a receipt whose actual payment status is known. Agree how Front Desk Agent submits stay actions, how the rate plan is used and who inspects a cleaned room.
Review before release
Rehearse a request that overlaps a confirmed stay, a check-in to an available room, and a checkout whose receipt remains Pending. Confirm that cleaning and inspection precede the room’s return to Available. Use the implementation plan to sequence the setup and integrations to decide how external payment results reach the team.
