Who it's for

Public service programs

A service program can use positions to show planned capacity and job titles to identify the work. Recruitment records preserve who applied to a specific opening and the interview result. Once an offer is accepted, the employee and onboarding records give HR a practical handoff into the operating team.

How Government HRMS is set up for you

Opening

A Job Requisition belongs to a position and department with a hiring manager and recruiter.

Start

Onboarding Checklists group the tasks assigned to HR, Payroll, IT, Facilities, managers and the new employee.

Learning

Courses and Course Enrollments identify required or assigned learning; Training Records retain completion and expiry.

Review

Performance Cycles, Performance Reviews and Goals keep assessments tied to the right employee and period.

A service program can use positions to show planned capacity and job titles to identify the work. Recruitment records preserve who applied to a specific opening and the interview result. Once an offer is accepted, the employee and onboarding records give HR a practical handoff into the operating team.

Pick one program team with a small set of positions and a current manager. Review the grade for each position before opening a requisition. Follow one application and offer, then prepare the employee's onboarding checklist. Give each task an assignee and due date, and inspect blocked work before calling the start complete. Assign a course and check that completion produces the intended training record and expiry context. Use a probation performance cycle to check who submits, calibrates and releases a review.

If learning completion comes from another platform, agree how that platform identifies the course and employee before importing results. If a task depends on an outside service, keep the confirmation with the task's evidence. The HR team should be able to explain a person's readiness from actual tasks and records.
