How a Remote Teams HRMS rollout works

Set up people structure, ownership and a first end-to-end operating cycle.

  1. Define the people structure

Agree departments, positions, remote and hybrid locations, legal entities and payroll calendars. Identify who maintains each record.

  2. Map employee records

Bring in a small representative group with manager, location and calendar links. Review the Employees page by department and inspect individual details.

  3. Rehearse hiring

Use an opening with a requisition, application, interview, offer and checklist. Record the responsible human decision at each gate.

  4. Run a period

Submit leave and time, prepare pay statements and review a payroll run. Confirm its country, entity and currency context.

  5. Extend the operating cycle

Add a performance cycle, goals, course enrollments and training records after the employee references reconcile.

What the customer provides

Provide the current employee and department registers, position and location definitions, payroll calendars, leave types and opening balances. Name the people who will own recruiting, HR, payroll, learning and approval decisions. Bring sample cases from remote and hybrid teams, including a transfer and a pay period. Confirm which existing systems handle signatures, learning delivery and payroll settlement.

Changing it afterwards

Review the impact of a department, location, pay grade or calendar change before updating employees and open transactions. Keep dated employment history for people changes. Check the receiving team’s reports and saved views after a field or status convention changes. Use the data model to trace linked records and roles to revisit access.
