- HRMS with Grievance Management
- Who it's for
- Multi-location employers
Multi-location employers
A company with workers in offices, remote roles and field locations needs to know where each person is assigned and which payroll calendar applies. The employee record connects location, department, position, manager, entity and country. HR Business Partner can use the same structure when a worker transfers or changes manager.
How HRMS with Grievance Management is set up for you
Start with the structure
Give each location a type and country, then connect positions to the department and location where the work belongs.
Track the current assignment
Keep the employee's position, manager and payroll calendar current, and record dated transfer events in employment history.
Review time consistently
Employees submit weekly timesheets with daily entries. Approvers review total hours before payroll uses the approved work.
Close by calendar
Payroll Admin prepares each run for its named calendar, period, entity and currency and checks statements against the employees assigned to it.
A company with workers in offices, remote roles and field locations needs to know where each person is assigned and which payroll calendar applies. The employee record connects location, department, position, manager, entity and country. HR Business Partner can use the same structure when a worker transfers or changes manager.
Choose one location and one payroll calendar. Add a department, several positions and a few employee assignments. Rehearse a transfer to another location with a future effective date and check that the employee's current row and history agree. Run one weekly timesheet through approval, then have Payroll Admin compare it with a statement in the matching period.
As additional locations join, agree who may change location and calendar references and how the payroll team checks an employee who moves between entities. Keep a decision on a submitted request separate from a completed transfer or paid run. That way each team can see the stage it owns.
