How a Insurance Agent Portal rollout works

Set up an agency pilot from client accounts through commission review.

  1. Agree ownership

Name the agency manager, producer, commission specialist and independent reviewer. Decide who maintains organizations and team membership.

  2. Prepare records

Load organizations, users and team members, then client accounts. Check account codes and the organization link.

  3. Rehearse opportunities

Open a prospect, assign an owner, record its expected close date and value, and log a due activity.

  4. Rehearse commission review

Link a carrier statement and evidence to the opportunity, submit it and record a reviewer decision with a reason.

  5. Inspect exceptions

Open Operations Overview and a failed operation receipt, then trace its parent record and resolution.

What the customer provides

Bring current client account identifiers, producer assignments, representative opportunities, carrier statement samples and the policy for who decides a disputed amount. Choose a small set of records that includes a correction and a rejection. Decide how carrier files and remittance confirmations will reach the team.

Changing it afterwards

When a carrier format or review responsibility changes, rehearse the affected statement and decision path before broad rollout. Preserve the related opportunity, source revision, reason and attachment so an earlier decision can still be explained. See the data model for import order.
