Get Inventory Allocation Engine running in four steps.

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Inventory Allocation Engine for your business. Choose the operating organization and invite Inventory Clerk and Inventory Supervisor. Include Auditor to review the stock evidence. Confirm each team member’s platform account mapping before using owner-based views.

Choose an item range and storage location with reconciled opening lots. Bring current Held reservations, representative demand and the channel-policy interpretation. Inventory Clerk prepares the request; Inventory Supervisor reviews its current revision. Rehearse a successful claim and a shortfall before running the stock effect.

Use an actual receiving or movement case with known beginning and ending quantity. Repeat the accepted action with its stable identity and inspect the same result. Include authorized cancellation and a compensating reversal so the team can explain both changed demand and corrected execution.

Check that each person can perform only their permitted actions, the free-stock limit rejects excessive claims and stale review input is refused. Run a completion mismatch and confirm that a Failed receipt leaves the request unchanged. Auditor should be able to follow earlier evidence after the exception is resolved.

Test external demand and carrier identifiers before enabling connected work. Agree the view filters and reporting questions with the team, then expand the operating scope deliberately. Follow implementation and the data model for preparation.
