What you can do
Give a reviewed match an accountable case
A screening case belongs to an organization and a parent bank instruction. The Operations Analyst can record a subject reference, screening date, revision, initial deposit amount and provider application identifier where they apply. Its status follows the case from draft through submission and decision. The purpose of this record is to keep a reviewed disposition connected to the banking work it affects.
A case can reach approved, rejected or completed states. The Independent Finance Reviewer can inspect the case and parent instruction before the team updates the case status. Record the decision date when the team updates the outcome. Use the linked instruction and its supporting attachments when the reviewer needs more context about the banking request. The subject reference lets the team find the case again.
How the work is organized
- Linked case. Each case points to its organization and the instruction under review.
- Working status. Draft and submitted items stay distinct from approved, rejected and completed outcomes.
- Decision context. The revision, decision date and provider application identifier help explain the disposition.
Suppose a reviewed match leads the team to pause a planned banking instruction. The analyst records the case against that instruction and places it in the decision queue. The Independent Finance Reviewer inspects the subject reference and instruction before the case status is updated. A rejected case remains visible in the board even if the parent instruction later changes. The instruction needs its own authorization decision before any provider submission.
What to agree during setup
Agree how the team receives a reviewed match and enters its subject reference and screening date. Decide who prepares a case and who updates its status after review. Keep organization scope consistent between the case and its parent instruction. A case outcome does not authorize a bank instruction; the instruction follows its own review and records its decision separately.
Choose when to set the decision date and what completed means for the team’s operating procedure. The review queue should make submitted cases visible to a qualified reviewer. The Auditor should be able to trace the case, parent instruction and outcome without editing them.
Check the handoff on an actual case
Create a draft case linked to a real instruction and organization, add a subject reference, and submit it. Have a reviewer inspect the case and parent instruction before recording the case outcome and decision date. Check that the case stays linked to the same instruction and that a later revision is visible. Rehearse both an approved and a rejected outcome. Confirm that the auditor can follow the case status, decision date and instruction state separately.
What your team sees
- Screening case board — Follow linked cases across draft, submitted and decided states.
- Screening cases awaiting decision — Open the submitted cases requiring reviewer attention.
- Instructions in review — Check the associated banking request before disposition.
Follow the work through
Use case disposition for the review sequence and instruction review for the separate banking decision.
