What you can do
Bring the operating questions together
Operations Overview is the team’s starting page for pipeline, review readiness and exceptions. A Sales Manager uses it to decide where attention is needed: an opportunity waiting for a conflict decision, a late-stage engagement awaiting outcome review, or a receipt whose result needs investigation. The page brings those questions together across organizations the person is authorized to see. The underlying records remain the authority for the details.
The Relationship Owner needs a different cut of the same work. They can open assigned opportunities, check upcoming relationship activity and prepare the evidence a reviewer needs. An Auditor can follow a decision or exception back to the opportunity, check and receipt. The overview should guide each person to the working record rather than ask them to decide from an aggregate alone.
How the work is organized
- Pipeline. Open opportunities show current status, owner and expected close date.
- Readiness. Submitted conflict checks and late-stage opportunities show where a reviewer decision is due.
- Exceptions. Pending or review-needed receipts lead the manager to the source action and reason.
What to agree during setup
Agree which organizations each manager may review and how owners keep close dates current. Define who takes a submitted conflict check and who checks receipts that need review. The overview is useful only when responsibility for those next decisions is clear. Set a cadence for the Sales Manager to review late-stage opportunities and ensure each has current evidence before a close decision.
Agree how a team responds to a failed operation receipt. A refusal should remain visible with its reason; repeating an action without checking the source revision can make the record harder to reconcile. For a pending receipt, compare the expected revision to the current opportunity and check whether any external confirmation remains outstanding.
Check the handoff on an actual case
A Sales Manager opens Operations Overview and finds a submitted conflict check for a prospective engagement. They follow it to the opportunity, read the matter summary and evidence, then record the independent decision. Later the same opportunity reaches negotiation. The manager checks the acceptance evidence and approves the exact revision for a won outcome. If the resulting receipt needs review, they trace the operation key and expected revision before resolving the exception. The overview gave the team a place to find the work; the opportunity and linked records preserve what happened.
