How a Logistics CRM rollout works

Set up the shipper directory, opportunity rules and review rehearsal before wider use.

  1. Set operating scope

Create the organization, choose its time zone and currency, and confirm the team members who will own and review work.

  2. Prepare counterparties

Bring in active shipper accounts with stable codes, contact names and eligibility notes.

  3. Agree the pipeline

Define what evidence supports qualification, proposal, negotiation and a customer outcome. Set rules for expected value and close date.

  4. Prepare lane review

Agree ZIP code format, weekly load estimates, rate validity dates and the evidence a Sales Manager checks.

  5. Rehearse decisions

Walk a real opportunity through activity, attachment, lane review, customer outcome and receipt inspection. Check each role's access.

  6. Extend connections

If transport execution or finance needs the result, configure the handoff and confirm its returned reference against the opportunity evidence.

What the customer provides

Bring a current shipper account, an active opportunity, a representative lane request and the people who will own and review them. Have a recent call outcome, proposal file and customer decision available for the rehearsal. Agree who can mark an attachment Shared and who handles a receipt that needs review.

Changing it afterwards

When a lane basis, owner or customer expectation changes, update the linked record and review the new revision. Keep earlier activity and decisions available. Revisit access when a team member changes organization or role. Use the roles page and data model during those reviews.
