How a Martial Arts Studio rollout works

Set up the studio around one member cycle and expand after a tested handoff.

  1. Agree the operating rules

Define session capacity, booking confirmation, attendance, assessment review and payment confirmation owners.

  2. Prepare reference records

Load people, members, plan terms and sessions, then check identifiers and permissions.

  3. Run a booking cycle

Enter requests, inspect conflicting intervals, confirm an eligible booking and record attendance.

  4. Exercise specialty work

Attach a belt assessment and a tournament entry to the correct booking and rehearse review.

  5. Reconcile finance

Compare service items, pending payments and confirmed receipts before the manager completes a booking.

What the customer provides

Bring current member contact details, plan terms, session types and capacities, staff identities, assessment rules, tournament event details and a payment confirmation source. Choose a small representative set of bookings, including a cancellation, a Retry result and a withdrawal. The team should know which person will decide each exception.

Changing it afterwards

Review changes to plan price, session capacity and staff permissions with their owners. Retain the original booking and linked evidence when correcting an outcome. Rehearse the changed rule against a representative member case before using it in active work. Use the data model to check references and the roles page to review access.
