How a Medical Equipment Tracking rollout works

Set up equipment identities, technician access and a small service cycle.

  1. Choose the first equipment set

Pick a clinic location and devices with known asset tags, service dates and people responsible for them.

  2. Prepare staff and assignments

Add users and people, check role access, and enter technician assignments with effective dates.

  3. Load safety context

Attach permits and technician certification evidence, then review signed and expiry dates with the team.

  4. Run an operating cycle

Create a due task and work order, record arrival, service evidence, review and completion.

  5. Review history and cost

Compare the completed order with its service history and any received cost entry before expanding the register.

What the customer provides

Bring asset tags, device names, locations, current technician details, maintenance task dates, permit documents, certification evidence and representative service records. Decide who signs permits and who reviews a service history amount. Provide a sample of the source references used by any inventory, scheduling, instrument or accounting connection.

Changing it afterwards

When a device moves or a technician changes, update the asset and dated assignment deliberately. Keep old service records linked to their original work orders. Review status definitions with staff when a new work type is introduced, and rehearse correction cases before using a new feed. Get started with a small first cycle.
