Integrations and connected systems

Plan external feeds around the asset, work order and service cost records.

  • Medical Equipment Tracking
  • Equipment inventory source
  • Service scheduling source
  • Calibration instrument source
  • Accounting source

Systems to connect

  • Equipment inventory source. If device identities already live elsewhere, map stable asset tags, names and locations into the equipment register.
  • Service scheduling source. Where another system dispatches technicians, agree how its work reference maps to the work order and assigned person.
  • Calibration instrument source. If readings come from instruments, preserve the measurement type, value, unit, date and recorder when bringing them into a work order.
  • Accounting source. Agree how service history amounts and received cost references are reconciled with the finance system.

How connections are governed

Choose a source owner for each feed and keep source identifiers during import. Rehearse a correction, a duplicate event and a record for the wrong asset before making a connection part of daily operations. The clinic decides which system owns each status change. Use the data model to check the parent record and required reference for every imported entry.
