What you can do
Check what actually happened
An operation receipt records the requested action, stable key, expected revision and actual result state for a bank instruction. It can retain an external reference, effect references or a failure reason. These details help the team distinguish an action that completed from one needing review. A request being accepted by a screen is not enough to conclude that every intended record was saved.
A read-first completion review checks the claimed effects against local records. If the decision or evidence is absent, the receipt needs review with the discrepancy visible. The same operation key helps prevent a repeated request from creating a second effect. The team should inspect the existing result before deciding what action is safe.
How the work is organized
- Receipt queue. Pending, failed and review-needed receipts show the action and reason for inspection.
- Revision control. The expected revision ties an attempted change to the record the actor saw.
- Enrollment trail. A device enrollment links to its parent instruction and records its application identity, review status and decision time.
A device enrollment is an application for a provider-authorized account against a banking instruction. Its submitted revision needs independent review and supporting evidence before an approved outcome. Completion also depends on a verified provider result. The administrator’s membership role does not confer approval of an enrollment.
What to agree during setup
Assign who inspects receipts and how to resolve a result that may have reached a provider. Agree which persisted records establish successful completion for each action. Do not replay an external execution just because a local receipt is unresolved. First compare the provider reference, decision record and evidence trail with the requested operation.
For enrollments, define the evidence an independent reviewer must inspect and the provider result required before completion. Agree how a changed application revision returns to review. Record who investigates a failed application and how the original decision remains available after a correction.
Check the handoff on an actual case
A preparer submits an eligible instruction and receives a pending operation receipt. The preparer invokes the read-first completion check against the provider identity and local effect references. If the evidence and saved records match the claimed action, the guarded check completes the receipt. If a claimed decision record is missing, it records a review-needed result with the discrepancy. The Auditor inspects that outcome read-only. Repeating the same operation should return to the existing effect.
In a separate enrollment case, a submitted application is reviewed by an independent approver. The reviewer examines the linked instruction and supporting evidence, records a decision against the submitted revision, and waits for the provider result before the application is completed. A changed revision requires a fresh decision.
